Notify Banks & Credit card companies
Notifiy telephone company & ISP
Arrange to re-route mail
Notify your creditors
Plan where things go in your new home
Cancel milk & Newspaper
Find and label keys for your purchaser
Arrange minders to look after children & pets on moving day
Send change of address to friends & relatives
Seperate valuable items & important documents ready for you to hand carry on moving day
Organise any items that are not to be moved
Take down any light fittings
Take down curtains & take up carpets that your mover has not been asked to do
Collect childrens toys etc. for journey
Put together a basic catering pack for the family at the new home including a kettle!
